Mercedes SLS AMG Treated to Some Carbon and Paint

There’s something about sitting in a low slung car, far in towards the back, right over the driveshaft that tickles a masculine nerve, and probably the most refined two-door to do this is the Mercedes Benz SLS AMG, cruiser-bruiser with GT ambitions.
The German carmaker has recently revealed a time lapse video detailing how they put some cosmetic and performance touches on the car. AMG Performance Studio in Affalterbach takes a standard red example of the front mid-mounted engined supercar and takes it to the next level, changing the paintwork and adding carbon fiber to the interior.

The new color you see in the video is called Yosemite Blue and is a real head-turner. Just about every piece of exterior molding, carpeting, nut, bolt or luxury fitting has to e removed for the makeover to take place.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
