Honda’s Australian division has announced the pricing for the 2012 model year version of the Odyssey. The people mover has also been fitted with more features than before, in order to better cater to families’ transportation needs.
The MPV can be yours starting from AU$37,100, which means that it is priced AU$2,000 lower than the previous model. In addition to that, the vehicle comes with standard equipment upgrades worth over AU$2,500.
The list of standard features now includes a satellite navigation system featuring USB connectivity with iPod integration, Bluetooth connectivity and audio streaming, live traffic updates, SD card map updates, rear reversing camera and DVD player (operates when the vehicle is stationary only), Honda’s unique Ecological Drive Assist Program, steering-wheel mounted gear-shift paddles and cruise control.
“The Odyssey recognizes that keeping the family safe is the number one priority, with a reversing camera, vehicle stability assistance and front, side and curtain airbags all standard,” Mr. Smalley said. “With a powerful i-VTEC engine and superior handling, Odyssey drivers can enjoy an exceptional driving experience without compromising on the key elements of a family car.”
