The Chinese market is keen on long and lean cars, so hopefully they'll like a bit of five-door coupe sexiness. German automaker Mercedes Benz has reportedly begun testing their brand new CLS Shooting Brake model in China.
A local website called yiche.com recently published photos of the CLS undergoing testing there while wearing no camouflage.
The Shooting Brake will reportedly go on sale starting around the same time as it makes its debut at the 2013 Shanghai Auto Show. The bad news is that just like the CLS four-door model, it will be an import model.
Prices will start at about CNY800,000, which is $128,500 at today's exchange rates. Still, there should be no shortage of rich buyers willing to buy the best looking German car with a big boot.
