Nissan today announced that production of their hot new… supermini crossover with a tuned engine began at the factory in Sunderland, UK. We are, of course talking about the 200 horsepower Juke Nismo.
The cars are actually built off the same line as the regular Jukes, thanks to a flexible assembly operation. The car's paint options have been introduced into the state-of-the-art paint facility, while the new body elements required some modifications being made to the plant.

Just like the new Clio RS, the Juke Nismo is powered by a 1.6-kiter turbo engine with 200 PS. It available with front wheel drive and a manual transmission, reaching 100 km/h in under 8 seconds. But perhaps its best accept is its stylish and sporty character, which comes courtesy of new front and rear bumper, bespoke paintjob and massive 18-inch wheels.

Make sure you check out the photos in the gallery below, which provide wonderful insight into how the Juke Nismo is put together.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
