Car manufacturers - especially ones that also build cars who end up on bedroom walls and computer screen wallpapers - have always had a tight relationship with video game manufacturers. So has Mercedes-Benz over the years, naturally, but this is the first time things will happen a little bit differently.
You all know the Gran Turismo game series, available exclusively on Sony's PlayStation, right? Well, then you must also know about the GT 6 coming this December (allegedly), which will feature over 1000 cars from different car makers, including Mercedes-Benz.

The makers of the franchise, Polyphony Digital, will also celebrate the 15-year anniversary of the gaming series with the release of GT 6, so they decided to make the new game even more special.

The “special part” will come in the form of “Vision Gran Turismo”, which will feature the first ever Mercedes-Benz built specifically to appear in a video game, among an array of other concepts from other brands, including Nike.

As you can see from the preview image, which in this version kind of looks like the top half of a stretched Porsche 911 GT3 996, the virtual concept car is yet to be unveiled and will not be based on any existing Mercedes-Benz model. You can check out the trailer for the "Vision Gran Turismo" below.
