Last month Mercedes-Benz has outsold Audi for the first time in 2013, therefore becoming the second largest luxury car manufacturer in the world.
With no less than 133,440 cars and SUVs sold in November, representing an 11 percent increase from the same period last year, they managed to beat the 132,05 units sold by Audi.

The Bavarians form BMW managed to keep their lead with 149,663 cars sold last month, up just 3.2 percent from last year though.

Since December 2012, this is the first month that Mercedes-Benz managed to outpace Audi in terms of global sales, even though all three “German greats” pulled record numbers from this point of view.

November is also the fifth consecutive month when Mercedes-Benz managed to pass both Audi and BMW in terms of percentage increases, although they still have some work to do in order to outpace them in terms of yearly sales.
