Mercedes-Benz ML 350 BlueTec Gets Reviewed by Drive

The Mercedes-Benz M-Class W166 is the third generation of the M-Class, arguably the SUV which started the whole luxury SUV craze back in the late 1990s. We know that the Range Rover is a bit older than that, but there wasn't a luxury SUV craze back then.
The ML 350 BlueTec has been trying to steer away Americans from the big bad gasoline V8s for some time now, and it seems to be working, despite not offering the most powerful diesel in its segment.

What it does offer is the torquiest diesel in its segment, with no less than 620 Nm (455 lb ft) of torque at its disposal, more than enough to tow just about anything that a huge V8 could, and more.

With about a year until its mid-cycle facelift arrives, the current Mercedes-Benz ML 350 BlueTec is pretty much the best choice in its price range if you are looking for above average comfort, best-in-class safety, luxurious features and towing capacity.
