Mercedes Benz C-Klasse Special Edition

German manufacturer Mercedes Benz announced the release of a Special Edition for the C-Klasse range, "set to draw admiring glances with its sporty, elegant design features". In words we can all understand, a C-Klasse fitted with features available only for this edition. The new version will be offered for all C-Klasse models, based on the Avantgarde trim.

On the exterior, the Special Edition boasts darkened front headlamps with a dark cover frame, 17-inch 5-spoke light-alloy wheels with mixed-size tires, shoulderline trim strips in polished aluminum, front fog lamps with a chrome ring and chromed twin louvres, chrome highlights in the bumper, rub strip and boot lid plus the B-pillar trim painted glossy black.

The C-Klasse Special Edition will come in obsidian black, palladium silver, iridium silver or calcite paintwork, but Mercedes will also debut the indium grey paint.

Changes and additions are extensive for the interior as well. The Edition features black/sahara beige or black/cognac brown leather seats, multifunction leather steering wheel with a 4.5-inch display in the instrument cluster, round dials with tapered tube-style surrounds and leather shift/selector lever.

As for equipment, Mercedes Benz C-Klasse brings Agility Control, Adaptive Brake, Intelligent Light System with bi-xenon lamps, as well as the already familiar BlueEFFICIENCY and Parktronic.

Don't expect the Special Edition to come cheap though. Two sets of prices are available, depending on whether customers choose to go for the interior leather upholstery or not. Without the leather, prices for the Special Edition are in between 2,689 and 3,879 euro higher than the regular C-Klasse. Leather including, those the Special Edition costs an extra 4,629 to 5,819 euro.
