With an increase in sales momentum that started back in 2013 and hasn't stopped since, the three-pointed star manufacturer is still on a roll in the first four months of this year and in pretty much every market.
Just during the month of April, Mercedes-Benz delivered no less than 133,077 vehicles globally, representing an increase of 14.2 percent compared with the same month in 2013.

Even more impressive were the year-to-date sales numbers, with the 507,353 cars old in the first four months representing an increase of 14.9 percent compared with the same period last year.

“We are posting a double-digit percentage growth in sales for the tenth consecutive month, among others also due to the great success of the new C-Class”, said Ola Källenius, Member of the Divisional Board Mercedes-Benz Cars responsible for Marketing & Sales and former CEO of AMG. “Our strong growth in April shows: We continue to be on the right course and are winning new customers for our brand worldwide.”

Over 62,868 cars were delivered to European customers in April, with the total year-to-date sales comprising 224,257 units, or almost half of the entire cars sold all over the world.

Germany, which is Mercedes-Benz's third largest market globally and where the three-pointed star is the best sold premium car manufacturer, saw April sales comprising 24,430 cars.

The largest sales market, the United States, saw Mercedes-Benz post yet another record in April, with the 25,887 vehicles handed over to customers representing an increase of 9.5 percent and making the Stuttgart brand the number one premium manufacturer once again.

By far the biggest sales growth provider was the Asian market, with Mercedes-Benz delivering 22,438 cars in China and Hong Kong just during the month of April, making for an increase of 38.2 percent compared with April 2013.
