McLaren has figured out that its clients not only want the power and performance, but are also willing to spend extra for individuality. Rather than let customers go to Gemballa, FAB Design or Mansory, the Brits are devising their own customization options.
McLaren Special Operations, the division responsible for the company’s bespoke projects, has unveiled this concept called the MSO 12C. This special car is distinguished by small but obvious changes made throughout. There's a new set of wheels to admire, a carbon fiber bespoke bumper or that scoop. Yes, the MP4-12C now has a roof scoop.

The naked carbon fiber rear deck and wing are also nice additions to the car. MSO also experimented with lighter titanium, used for the bolts or the oil and water filter caps.

Inside, the thing all MP4-12C owners will want is the new digital instrument cluster with shift lights. Just like the P1, it offers info on oil, water or fuel status. Carbon fiber trim has been added across the interior.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
