McLaren Automotive has quietly began production of its all-new P1 hybrid supercar, a company spokesman confirmed at a recent dealership presentation in Holland, adding that the British manufacturer has not released any photos or details due to customer privacy agreements.
The spokesperson declined to reveal where the very first P1 will be shipped to: “Our customers have houses all over the world. They ultimately determine where the P1 comes out,” he said.

The McLaren P1 will be built in only 375 examples, all of which were sold with a price tag of at least €1 million ($1.36 million / £840,000). The supercar boasts a combined output of 916 PS from a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 and an electric motor. Top speed is rated at 350 km/h (217 mph), while 0-100 km/h (62 mph) can be achieved in less than three seconds.
