McLaren is a supercar producer that doesn’t just need to up the ante on the vehicle development front, the carmaker also has to expand its dealer network and this is exactly what the company is doing. McLaren today announced that it is expanding its reach in Asia through the appointment of its first dealer in Indonesia.
The dealer will be run by PT Mega Performa Indonesia, which will represent McLaren across Indonesia operating as McLaren Jakarta. The company will use a dedicated showroom and service workshop in Jakarta. The Pacific Place Mall showroom and Jalan Arteri Pondok Indah workshop are scheduled to open their doors early next year.
“McLaren Automotive is committed to delivering excellence to our customers, in groundbreaking design and techniques in combination with high quality construction, all the way through to the sale and maintenance of our high-performance sports cars,” said Ian Gorsuch, McLaren Automotive’s Regional Director for Asia Pacific.
The move brings McLaren Automotive’s international presence to 23 markets, with its Asia-Pacific network also including Hong Kong, Singapore, Sydney and Japan (Osaka and Tokyo).
