The McLaren X-1 one-off concept that made its debut at Pebble Beach might not have suited everybody’s taste, but it has seriously raised awareness for McLaren’s special operations divisions.
So, let’s see what else this customization arm of the British carmaker handles. Well, before the X-1, it built a limited series of 15 units of the High Sport edition for the MP4-12C (the X-1 is also based on this). The division’s history goes further back, but we’ll stick to this for now.
