Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale to Make UK Debut at Salon Prive

The new Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale is the fastest, lightest and most powerful car in the Maserati range. It is inspired by the race-winning GT4 motorsport models and responds to a demand for a car that can balance on-road driving needs with race-driving desires.

With 450 hp at its disposal, the MC Stradale generates 10 more hp than the GranTurismo S. The sportscar uses advanced electronics to cut gear-shift times from the upgraded MC Race Shift electro-actuated transaxle gearbox to just 60 milliseconds. This all helps to slash the 0-100 km/h sprint time, which the model now covers in just 4.6 seconds.

British motoring enthusiasts will get a chance to enjoy the model, as it will make its UK debut at this year’s Salon Prive event at Syon Park.

Salon Prive has now established itself as a major date in the automotive diary. Now in its sixth consecutive year, the event is moving to a new venue, featuring a larger Concours d’Elegance and a ‘Quintessentially English’ RM Auction.

The event is rapidly becoming a desirable platform for brands to unveil new products. 2009 saw the UK debut of the new Jaguar XJ and Aston Martin chose Salon Prive to present the first public viewing of their £1 million One-77. In addition, the event was chosen to host Jaguar’s 75 year anniversary celebration.

This year, the show has been moved forward to June 22nd to 24th, right in the middle of the UK summer season events calendar. It promises to be better than ever, with a better location, greater accessibility and ample parking for those wishing to drive at this year’s event. Ticket prices start from £175 + VAT and include of Pommery Champagne, Lobster Luncheon and afternoon teas as well as access in all areas.
