Martin Margiela Ruby Helmet Limited Edition

One of the latest additions to the exclusive helmet line-up at Les Ateliers Ruby is the result of a collaboration between Maison Martin Margiela and the luxury helmet maker. Available in a limited run, this special Pavillon helmet is an open face model using retro inspiration, but maintains a modern design.

Each comes with a serial number and distinctive drawings on the helmet inspired by graffiti on the Maison’s actual window. The hardware is engraved with Ruby’s emblems.

Available only in white with a carbon and lamb leather shell and antibacterial lining, it's limited to 600 pieces and retails for $1,195.

The helmets at Les Ateliers Ruby are respecting the safety features needed to protect their bearer, as they are
manufactured from carbon fiber, a technology from the aerospace industry, that guarantees a high level of strength with a lightweight structure.

“With the Ruby Pavillon, the motorcycle helmet is now an object of pure desire! We as well as the manufacturer hope you will get the chance to take a close look at one of our helmets, so that you can appreciate the wealth of details, the quality of the finish, the feel of the materials, the professionalism of the technological choices and its incomparable level of comfort,” the company brags.

“The Pavillon subtly asserts its personality through a number of details: Its integrated 'backbone' is inspired by knights’ helmets, and the chrome-plated strip which runs around the edge of the helmet is its 'steel coat of arms'. Its claret interior, made of nappa lambskin is reminiscent of the aesthetics of vintage luxury cars; their is something special about the pure attention to detail given to the design and working of each part.”
