Keira Knightley Rides a Classic Ducati for Chanel

Getting together a beautiful woman, a classic motorbike, and a luxury clothing brand could surely only be described as a recipe for success. So the fact that English actress Keira is to appear in a new Chanel TV ad, riding a classic Ducati motorcycle, is an insurance that the Parisian fashion house means business.

Knightley has been recently spotted shooting her latest Chanel commercial on Sunday afternoon at Concorde Place in Paris, France, Luxist reports.

Knightley was wearing a beige colored suede Chanel catsuit and boots and custom jet helmet from Les Ateliers Ruby. The Ruby Belvedere helmet also in beige was perfectly matching the vintage Ducati 750 Super Sport machine which Knightley was fake-riding. We say this because the bike was attached to a dolly.

Although it was released in 1974, the 750 Super Sport recorded a remarkable success on the market, mostly thanks to its four-stroke 90 degree V-twin configuration engine. The motorcycle is able to reach a top speed of 137 mph (220 km/h).

In fact, the 1974 model bike is considered to be the most significant production bike in Ducati's history, mostly because it offered the highest standards of handing and performance available at that time and essentially saved Ducati from extinction.

Having managed to turn some heads during filming, Knightley was extremely sexy in her Chanel jumpsuit specially designed for her by Karl Lagerfeld. In some shots she’s seen racing past a pair of men in black suits riding more modern machines, so we can’t wait to see the final result.
