Every once in a while, some driver decides to go all dramatic and run away from the police while his car is loaded with marijuana. It had been quite a while since we last heard of such a case, but now we have a new one.
A BMW E30 3-Series was chases by the Highway Patrol in California this Tuesday after the driver refusing to stop at a random check. The 40-year old driver had the officers chase him for 20 minutes, whit the pursuit climbing up to 100 mph (160 km/h).
The inevitable eventually happened, with the driver loosing control of the car. A crash that send the vehicle flying followed, with the BMW hitting two members of the California Conservation Corps.
Not only were the two injured by the impact, but the man on the run lost his life in the accident, which also sent a hefty quantity of pot across the road.
