Mansory Chopster, the 710HP Porsche Cayenne

The Mansory subsidiary from Switzerland has worked on the latest generation Chopster that will make its world debut at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show. Based on the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S, the Mansory Chopster features a new body styling, aerodynamic elements, performance upgrades and various interior refinements.

Most of the body modifications are made of carbon, including front- or rear apron, doors, bonnet or the wings. They broaden the car by 80 millimeters and improve acceleration values, reduce the braking distance and fuel consumption. Moreover, with large air inlets and four extra headlights, the Chopster gains a more sporty and dynamic look.

As for the improvements in the car’s performances, the modified V8 outputs 710 hp and a maximum torque of 900 Nm , achieving a maximum speed of 302 km/h. In addition to the engine upgrade, the tuners brought a sport exhaust system with an optimized off-gas stream that consists of a racing header and a four-pipe baffler.

The Chopster has also been fitted with fully forged 11x23 inch mono block rims in turbine design and Dunlop Sport Maxx GT-tires sized 315/25/23. If desired, the SUV´s centre of gravity can be lowered by 45 mm.

As we said, the tuners also worked on the interior has also been modified, as they used leather skins and accentuate them with discreet decorative stitches. The highlight, however, is represented by the centre console which stretches from the back compartment to the dash-board.

Moreover, the Chopster has been equipped with four individual sports seats with shell-type seats made of carbon fiber, airbag sports steering wheel, aluminum pedals, two monitors in the centre console as well as DVD-player and laptop with internet connection.
