Well folks, here's another drag racing video, this time with a heavily modified M6 as the main star.
According to Gustav from M5Board.com, the organizer of these races, the camera car is a Stage 4 BMW F13 M6, with improvements like MHR Stage 4 Performance Ki, MHR Software remapping, MHR Downpipes, semi-catted, MHR Axleback Exhaust without valve control, Carbon Fiber Air Intake System and MHR Performance Box.
With all these new features, the power output increased to 700 HP and 860 Nm (634 lb-ft) of torque.
On the other hand, we have the Porsche 911 Turbo, stock, with the 3.8-liter twin turbo engine and 500 HP and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque. Considering the Porsche is almost half a tone lighter than the M6 things are pretty even.
However, the M6 pulls away after a hesitant start, mostly due to the extra HP. Considering just how many upgrades the Bimmer has, we have to admit we expected a more obvious win.
