When is a muscle car not a muscle car anymore? The guy in the video below, who is the fresh owner of a used 2014 Chevrolet Camaro SS, might be able to shed some light on this. Literally.
The man acquired the V8 Camaro recently, but only to take it into his garage and discover the hood had been gifted with a multicoloured lights dome. At first, he wasn’t all that bothered by the aftermarket features, but then he noticed that was just the tip of this colorful iceberg.

Checking the Chevy further, the man came across a remote control and that was the point when he realized his muscle machine had been somewhat riced. To be more specific, the remote allowed him to control the underbody lights that had been installed on the vehicle.

The man shared his story on Reddit, explaining that this is a 1LE Camaro SS with about 4,500 miles (7,250 km) on its odometer.

There is a very thin strip of LEDs going down the sides underneath. In a nutshell, time was of the essence in this purchase. It was far away, bank hours suck on weekends, he works long hours throughout the week, etc. He mentioned some lights, but I test drove it for the sole driveability aspects and bought it,” the man replied when asked about not noticing the lights before the purchase.

The guy describes the first owner of the car as a “40-something reliving his youth.” He can probably say that again, since the tires on the Camaro are reportedly almost bald.

Having shared his used Camaro experience with the world, the man removed the LED kit, selling the thing to somebody who felt the need to rice yet another car. Which means this is not exactly a happy ending story.
