The main message of "Crashed" is to remind riders the dangers they're exposed to when riding a motorcycle without protective gear. This PSA also brings a message from a surgeon explaining the severity of the wounds and permanent damage the depicted injuries are most likely to leave behind.
Since we kind of know that some riders would try to leave their helmets at home as often as possible, it looks like a very up-front, in-your-face depiction of how things really work during and after a crash is the only way to change their minds, if statistics won't.
