Even thought the “Beyond 300 km/h” event was held in Nardo, Southern Italy back in August, AC Schnitzer just published the results it got at the contest that was overlooked by Continental AG in collaboration with the car magazine “Auto Bild Sportscars”.
The event was set out to see what kind of super-speeds can some tuned up cars reach if given the right conditions (that means a closed course). In this regard, the Aachen-based manufacturer showed up with its take on the M6 Gran Coupe and set it loose on the 13 km long test track.

In the end, the GPS speed measurement showed an impressive number: 328,9 km/h (204,3 mph), making this the fastest road legal BMW in the competition.

Just as a quick reminder, the ACS M6 Gran Coupe has 620 HP and 790 Nm of torque coming from the 4.4-liter V8 engine under the bonnet instead of the stock 560 HP and 680 Nm.
