Who said police cars can’t look good? Definitely not us, as we even wrote a cover story about the matter. Even though it was focused on the impressive arsenal the Dubai Police Force has at its disposal, it’s still relevant.
Now, as part of a program meant to make people more aware of the dangers they expose themselves to when they give their cars more power, the guys from AC Schnitzer prepared a special police concept car that goes by the name of ‘Tune It! Safe!’ and unveiled it at Essen Motor Show 2013.

The concept car is based on BMW’s 428i model and has 294 HP and 420 Nm (309 lb-ft) of torque, reaches 100 km/h (62 mph) in 5.7 seconds but, unfortunately, has its top speed limited at 250 km/h (155 mph).

To make it a police car, the guys from Foliatec provided the vinyl for the exterior and the guys from Hella brought the light bar that you can see in action in the video below.
