Lotus Leaks Evora S and Evora Auto Paris Presence

We don't know whether to classify this as a goof of major proportions or just a well disguised publicity stunt, but Lotus' PR department has done it: it has leaked most of the information regarding its stand and the cars to be featured in it at this year's Paris Auto Show.

Long story short (and without going into the details of the weird email exchange “accidentally” sent to several press organizations, including autoevolution): Lotus will treat us with some very interesting things in Paris.

The list of cars to attend the event include the Evora S (as expected) and the Evora Auto (this should be good...), two models which will be testing on the Nordschleife track at the Nurburgring starting tomorrow and for the next three days. So, dear carparrazis, ready your guns and give us something to work with!

Lotus says it has not decided yet on the exact number of models to be shown in Paris. Aside for the two interpretations of the Evora, the British carmaker will be bringing to the event the mysterious, never-before-seen, model announced for months now. What's interesting is that one of the Marketing guys chatting about Paris hints to possibly more than one premieres:

Yes the Evora S and Evora Auto will be on the stand in Paris alongside the new car(s) not yet announced (let’s maintain the mystery for now!).”

Of course, we'll keep you posted on the developments and this story in the days to come. For the record, autoevolution does not believe the “URGENT: Email Sent in Error - Please DELETE“ message sent right after the first one reached us is for real. We also don't believe the first email was an accident. Call it gut feeling...

Anyway, good one, Lotus! See you on the Nordschleife.
