Lorenzo Back in Shape for the Czech GP

Spaniard Jorge Lorenzo is ready to challenge once again for the top spot at the Brno circuit this Sunday. After sustaining serious injuries at the Laguna Seca race last month, one cannot be contradicted when saying Jorge Lorenzo had a very nurturing summer break.

After he felt in the US Grand Prix, the Yamaha rider walked away with a fractured collar bone and some serious heal injuries. Ambitious as we all know the Spaniard, Lorenzo tried to keep a high pace right at the next Grand Prix, at Donington Park in England, but slipped off his bike once again, this time due to the wet conditions.

Now he reckons the summer break has aided him on the road to recovery and thinks he will be 100 percent fit for the Czech Grand Prix at Brno this weekend. Lorenzo is quite excited to race here after his convalescence break, as he managed to achieve positive results in Czech Republic in the past.

I'm really excited about this race after what feels like a long time without one," said Lorenzo. "It was good to have a bit of a break and I used the time to work on my fitness and to completely recover from the injuries I had after Laguna, in the gym and with my physiotherapist”, he added.

"The result is that I feel much better than I did in Germany and England and I'm excited to be getting back on the bike. I like Brno and I have had good results in the past there, including three wins. This time my aim is to fight hard and get back on the podium”, concluded the Yamaha rider.
