Earlier this month Livernois Motorsports & Engineering has introduced the 93 Octane Performance tuning program for the 2014 Chevrolet SS and the 2014 Cadillac XTS VSport.
With help from the $599.99 package, Chevy’s brand new Holden Commodore-based high-performance sedan will gain an additional 27 horsepower and 29 pound-feet of torque at the wheels, which means a final output of 342 whp and 345 lb-ft. Although the vehicle will remain stock in other areas, the 93 Octane Performance Tune also includes dyno spark and fuel adjustments.
“This tuner is unique in the fact that it supports approved bolt-ons, and our in-house developed packages, many of which include camshaft upgrades, cylinder head upgrades, superchargers, etc.,” said Andy Ricketts, vehicle installations and shop supervisor at Livernois."
Moving over to the Cadillac XTS Vsport, the full-size sedan will deliver 394 hp and 430 lb-ft of torque once the specialist does its magic, which translates into a 96-hp and 104-lb-ft gain. The alteration costs $649.99 and includes dyno-proven air and fuel adjustments.
The tune is available for 91 octane fuel as well, but Livernois says power gains will be 5 to 10 hp less when compared to those operated for 93 octane fuel.
