It’s hard to believe that one owner can’t be entirely satisfied with his brand new 2014 SRT Viper, but these kind of people are know to exist. In fact, the folks over at Superior Auto Design have just finished modifying one of the V10-powered supercars for a driver that wanted his Viper to be unique.
Although improving the styling of an SRT-built snake is harder than it sounds, the Florida-based specialist managed to improve the overall looks by powder coating the wheels in gloss black, and brushing the center caps. The factory brake calipers were disassembled to receive a bright red powder coating and a brand new Brembo decal.
Under the hood, the Viper received a real carbon fiber overlay over its engine’s X-brace, while the cabin gained a gloss black trim with red accents, which replaced the factory silver one.
The owner decided his Viper doesn’t need any powertrain improvements, which means that the 8.4-liter engine still pumps the 640 horses and 600 pound-feet of torque it received before leaving the Detroit plant via a six-speed manual transmission.
As a brief reminder, the 2014 SRT Viper is priced from $102,485 and can be had with the Grand Touring package for an extra $7,500 or the TA package for an additional $16,000. The extreme Viper GTS wears a sticker of $124,985.
