Limited Edition MotoGP Canvas Prints Now Available

Thanks to Martin Heath, a renown MotoGP photographer, race fans now have the chance to own one of the two limited edition canvas prints that capture two very important moments in the world’s premier motorcycle racing class: VR46 Elbow Down and The Pass.

Available as 12”x16” full bleed canvas prints, they will be limited to just 20 each - numbered and signed by the photographer himself.

"I get lots of enquiries from people wanting to purchase my work, so I wanted to give something back to the fans this year at Christmas and make it affordable but at the same time very collectable and unique. Hence, this one-off offer to celebrate Valentino's Yamaha Years that have brought me great pleasure and many photographic memories," said Martin Heath in a statement for the press.

Taken separately, the VR46 Elbow Down shows an image of The Doctor during the qualifying session at Catalunya in 2009, and is the only time that Rossi has been snapped with his Dainese leather-clad elbow dragging along the asphalt. “The nine-times world champion liked the image so much that it became his mobile phone wallpaper!” the statement reads.

Secondly, The Pass captures the Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo clash during the closing stages of round 14 at Motegi. “The win had gone away from the two Yamaha riders, but pride was at stake for the final step on the podium. Determined to stamp his authority over the champion elect, Rossi forced his way through in an epic last lap battle to claim third,” the statement continues.

‘VR46 Elbow Down’ and ‘The Pass’ are available now to order direct from Martin Heath Photography, priced at £90 (US$139) each.
