Our Mother’s Home of Southwest Florida is a non-profit organization that provides a safe and nurturing home for teen mothers (ages 12-18) who are in foster care or victims of human trafficking.
Now, Karen Watson, the establishment’s executive director, is pleased to announce the donation of a 1993 Lexus LS 400 from Jim Alba, who found out about the non-profit organization through his local car insurance agent.

“This car will be used for transporting one or two of the teen mothers to appointments, school or activities. It is cost efficient and provides a sense of normalcy. The teen mother feels normal when riding in a car compared to riding in a 15-passenger van alone,” states Karen Watson, Executive Director. “The teen mother(s) are more open and willing to talk to the driver. We can have mini therapy sessions, build positive relationships and set goals while riding close in a car,” adds Watson.
