Not too long ago, Lexus let it slip that it would release a new model that hadn’t been present in its range before. Initially, it seemed like Lexus would choose between a compact SUV and a sports car, but the carmaker will actually give us both.
While we’ve already discussed about the UV, which will based on the new Toyota RAV4, the sports car will arrive in the form of a coupe incarnation for the new IS. The Lexus IS Coupe will arrive next year and will be heavily influenced by the LF-CC Concept that was shown at the 2013 Paris Motor Show.
Lexus is also likely to develop a new IS F and this means that the coupe will receive a hyperpowered version too. This will compete with vehicles such as the recently-spied BMW M4 Coupe.
