Let’s Remember the Volkswagen “Bollocks” Commercial!

This Volkswagen Passat was an all-new car... back in 1996 when it was launched in Europe (followed by the US in 1998. However, we’re not here to talk about model years, we’re here to laugh at one of the funniest commercials in VW history.
It’s called “Bollocks” after the phrase this little girl loves to say every time something displeases her. Of course, that’s a strange world for a little girl to say, and the source of the problem is her father.

Every time he goes to put gas in his late 90s Passat, he forgets that it’s actually a diesel. The B5 generation sedan came with two turbodiesel engines in fact, a 1.9-liter TDI and a 2.5-liter TDI V6.
