As far as R/C cars go, we`ve seen some pretty cool examples over the years, and we have a soft spot for them, because they bring back memories of our childhood, as they were one of the first contacts we had with the automotive world, moving parts and car control techniques.
However, when it comes to geeky-cool R/C vehicles, this A-Team van, made from Lego, is among the the coolest we`ve seen in a long time. It looks surprisingly close to the actual van from the actual TV series, and features some really nice touches, like proper steering, complete with wishbones, as well as a rear differential of some sort, which means that with the instant torque delivery of the electric motor, it can drift with ease.
We would like to have one of these at the auto evolution office, but then again, perhaps it is better that we don`t, otherwise we would not get any work done, and you would run out of fresh news to read. Still, a great Lego R/C car, which is very well-built and thought through - one could lose hours taking it around a slalom, like they do in the video.
