100 miles per hour (160.9 km/h) doesn’t sound like much in the supercar-loving world we live in, but family cars don’t belong at that speed, and some modern day EVs can’t even reach that. But there is one EV that tops out at over 100 mph, and you drive it with your iPhone.
Yes, it’s the Traxxas RC car, which not only reaches that incredible speed, but does so in 4 seconds, faster than basically anything with four wheels.

The company that makes it brought one over to the 2012 SEMA Show in Las Vegas and placed it on a rolling road / dyno. This has an iPhone hooked to it, so you can check out the engine speed, temperature and how much battery is left.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
