Watch out people, a new LEGO movie is coming and your creativity is needed for this motion picture! Dubbed “Lego: The Motion Picture” the movie needs to receive custom vehicles coming from the public.
However, there is one special detail about this open source movie - its creators don’t want you to build usual LEGO vehicles for it. Instead, if you want your LEGO creation to start in the motion picture, you’ll have to use another item as a starting point. Placing a huge outer space base on four wheels has been done before, so you’ll have to be a bit more creative than that.
The film will be a Warner Brothers 3D CGI production that will be directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, who are also responsible for movies like “Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs” and will be produced by Dan Lin (you may remember him for Sherlock Holmes).
LEGO has also released a video explaining the whole story and is inviting you to follow this link in order to enter the contest. Besides seeing your vehicle in the film, you can also win $1,000 (EUR796).
