Larry Flint Is A Hustler, and Has the License Plates to Prove It

You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to guess who is the owner of a Bentley Arnage with the word HUSTLR spelled on the vanity plates. Clearly, it can only be Larry Flint, head of Larry Flynt Publications (LFP), which produces the well-known Hustler magazine, among other sexually graphic videos and magazines, Celebrity Cars Blog reported.

According to the definition for the word, hustler is someone who knows how to get money from others, outsmarting the smart, cunning and having streetsmarts. Since LFP has an annual turnover of about $300 million, we can only say that Larry Flint is a real hustler.

Actually, the Hustler magazine was and continues to be one of the best selling publication of its kind. The actual recognition came in the early 1970s, when Flynt got his hands on several nude pictures of former First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis while she was sunbathing on vacation in 1971.

He purchased them from a paparazzo for $18,000 and published them in the August 1975 issue. That issue attracted widespread attention, and 1 million copies were sold within a few days. With a fortune he raised since then, the around $500,000 paid on the Arnage seems to be no biggie for Flynt.

Bentley launched its second generation Arnage R model in 2005, available with a choice of two body configurations - R and RL. It featured the same 6.75L twin-turbocharged engine from the 2002 generation model, while now compliant with the latest Euro IV CO2 emission standards.

Exterior design featured new bonnet, radiator shell and grille, redesigned headlamps and a new set of wheels. Other interesting new features on the second generation Arnage included satellite navigation, new dashboard top, switchgear and better ergonomics.
