Land Rover Tows Car Right into Tree

There's a little bit of science (some call it common sense) behind towing. Both the one doing it and the one being towed must have enough knowledge of how a car works before engaging in an activity which would otherwise prove to be very dangerous.

A couple of guys from somewhere in this world learned it the hard way. They learned that, when the car is disabled, towing is a good idea. They also learned that towing at high speeds, with the car behind having no keys in the ignition, is a bad, bad idea.

Cars have a very nasty habit. When the key is not placed in the ignition, the steering wheel, if slightly moved, will lock. This is a useful feature when you park the car, but it becomes a dangerous one if you plan on moving the vehicle.

We're not sure what really happened with the car in the video below, but the fact remains that, while being towed by a Land Rover, it smashes head on into a tree. We see the driver twisting and turning the wheel but, at one point, it gets stuck while the car was taking a hard left turn.

The result is a series of screams of horror coming from the guys inside the car. They desperately shout at the driver of the Land Rover who, as if he had forgotten the SUV comes with rear view mirrors, is oblivious to the drama unfolding behind and keeps on driving at a considerable speed.

The car smashes into a tree on the side of the road with considerable force, but the people inside it manage to walk away with no injuries.
