Land Rover is giving us an even more rugged Defender, in the form of the new XTec Special Edition. It all starts with two unique colors, Orkney Grey and Nara Bronze, as well as with Santorini Black, which is used for the roof, wheel arches, bumpers and sills. The rear LED lights have a special “DEFENDER” decal placed above them, while the front lights come with Santorini Black surrounds.
The list of goodies also includes a body color grille, gloss Land Rover lettering on the hood, a rear step bumper elements, as well as Gloss Black Saw Tooth 16-inch alloy wheels with MTR off-road tires.
The Defender’s cabin has been gifted with a partial Ebony leather finish that uses Lunar contrasting stitching, various logos, as well as a central switch panel that uses a finish which matches the color of the vehicle’s body.
The list of standard equipment includes features like: Air Conditioning, Anti-Lock Brakes with Electronic Traction Control, central locking with remote control and heated seats and windscreen.
Customers can choose between the 90 Hard Top and the 110 Utility Wagon, both being powered by a 2.2-liter diesel unit working with a six-speed manual gearbox.
