Also presented at the 2010 Paris Auto Show earlier this year, Lancia Musa 5th Avenue was brought to the Bologna Auto Show where it is displayed alongside the rest of the models in the Italian company's range. The Musa 5th Avenue is obviously based on the Musa model, but comes with several improvements at both the exterior and the interior.

Power is provided by an Euro 5 compliant 1.4-liter petrol/LPG unit that provides 77 horsepower at 6000 rpm and a torque of 115 Nm at 3000 rpm. Engine performance is not too impressive given the fact that it is a family car, so it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 13.5 seconds, while maximum speed is rated at 163 km/h (101.2 mph). A second option is also available, namely a 1.3-liter Multijet with 95 horsepower and fitted with start-stop systems.

There are numerous features available, including dual zone climate control, privacy windows, radio CD MP3 player with steering wheel controls, fog lights, ESP, rain and brightness sensors, cruise control, parking sensor, GranLuce sunroof, electric rear windows and sleek 16-inch lightweight alloys.

Just like the model displayed in the French capital, the Bologna version comes painted in a two-tone color, Angelico white and Masaccio black top.

The base Musa was introduced earlier this year at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show and came equipped with a 1.3 Multijet II 95 hp (Euro5) engine along with a Start&Stop system that lets drivers lower fuel consumption and emissions on the combined cycle by up to 114g/km (109 g/km with robotised transmission).
