Lancia Delta, Musa and Ypsilon Tweaked for the 2009 Geneva Motor Show

Lancia will show up at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show with the same good old range of vehicles we are all used to, even if some new features were added here and there. The stars of the Italian's manufacturer show will be the new Delta Executive and the Delta Hardblack.

Delta Executive is aimed at business, diplomatic and institutional customers. As bumpy rides are not much to the liking of such people, the executive introduces the new variable damping electronic suspension system called Reactive Suspension. Lancia will make this system available to the other models as well, but only as an option for the not so worthy behinds.

The seats of the Executive, especially the rear ones, are designed so that any CEO, CFO or some other acronym they like to use, would have plenty of room to stretch their legs during the long journeys to any men's club or golf course.

After its appearance as a show-car at the Paris show, the Lancia Ypsilon Versus will be unveiled for the first time in its production version. With only 1,000 of them on the market, the model will be on sale from March.

The Musa Poltrona Frau is the third and last line of cars the Italian manufacturer will present in Geneva. Together with Ypsilon, it will preview the dual-power LPG and gasoline engines. Known as “Ecochic”, the range includes the Musa and Ypsilon models fitted with the 1.4 liter twin-fuel engine producing 77 HP, and will be available in March.

The aforementioned models will be seen at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show. We feel one should stop by the Lancia display area at the Geneva Motor Show, but only to enjoy nice a cup of coffee at the on-site “Lancia Café”.
