The successor to the Lamborghini Huracan is said to be a few months away from debuting. However, in the meantime, we can try to identify some of its styling traits courtesy of the numerous spy shots.
A few brave rendering artists have also peeled its camouflage away, so we also saw several digital illustrations of the upcoming model. Speaking of CGIs showing the Lamborghini Temerario (name unconfirmed), the latest that we came across look somewhat realistic, up to a point.

Spdesignsest took to Instagram a few days ago to release these digital illustrations portraying the Raging Bull's upcoming supercar from two angles. Albeit sporting a different shape on the real, the daytime running lights, which are believed to double as turn signals, proudly decorate the side vents of the front bumper.

The central air intake is large and very aggressive on the rendered supercar, yet spy shots have revealed that the bumper will look different, with a smaller intake in the middle flanked by additional smaller vents. The slim headlamps won't protrude that much into the bumper, and the front hood will be slightly cleaner.

At the rear, the Lamborghini Temerario has a massive tailpipe that sticks out from between the taillamps and a diffuser that doesn't have many things in common with this rendered copy. We wouldn't hold our breath for a similarly sized and shaped bumper, and the same goes for the carbon fiber trim on the rear deck. The placement of the third brake light is on par with the real thing, though.

The model portrayed in these digital illustrations shares many similarities with the outgoing Huracan. However, the Temerario will utilize an entirely new platform and feature a fresh powertrain unrelated to the Huracan's 5.2L naturally aspirated V10. Reports speak of a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged motor, and while we have no idea how much it pumps out, we can confirm that it is a V8.

As a result, the Temerario won't step on the toes of its larger sibling, the Revuelto, which uses a 6.5-liter plug-in hybrid powertrain with 1,001 horsepower (1,015 ps/747 kW) combined. Some believe the upcoming 'baby' Lambo will have in excess of 800 horsepower under the right pedal from its plug-in hybrid powertrain, and it is probably safe to assume that the output is somewhat correct, given that the model will target the Ferrari 296 GTB, which has 818 hp (830 ps/610 kW) from its electrified 3.0L V6.

Lamborghini will release full details about the successor to the Huracan, which is expected to be christened the Temerario as per a recent trademark, later this year. The official unveiling date is yet unknown, but we reckon it might premiere sometime this fall, perhaps after being shown in front of a few VIP guests as part of an internal event.
