Back in February, Lamborghini announced it had racked up 700 orders for the Huracan. Well, here we are in April, with the Italian carmaker announcing the number of people who have signed up for the Gallardo’s replacement has more than doubled. Lamborghini used the 2014 Beijing Auto Show to announce it has now collected 1,500 orders for the Huracan.
The company hasn’t entered the geographical details of its to-do Huracan list, but we’re betting Chinese buyers are on the podium. After all, Lamborghini entered the Chinese market in 2005 and the country has already become its second-largest area.
Looks like all that teasing ahead of the Huracan’s unveiling, which included the Cabrera faux designation, paid out.
Oh and by the way, Lamborghini also introduced yet another... special Aventador in Beijing. Before we move on to the details, we have to explain that while we absolutely adore the Aventador, the multitude of less-than-special incarnations seems to add age to the vehicle, at least to our eyes.
This isn’t actually a special edition. We are instead talking about an Aventador created through Lamborghini’s latest cash cow, it’s Ad Personam personalization program.
It all feels like the Raging Bull wanted to display its godhead in China, with the automaker introducing the Aventador LP700-3 Nazionale. Dressed in Bianco Opalis (White), this supercar comes with an Italian flag running across its body. Longitudinal positioning, just like for the V12.
Expect a host of other bespoke color choices, culminating with the carbon interior tim and “Q-citura” stitching. The Italian flag obviously also found its way inside this technically stock Aventador.
