Want an honest review of what it's really like to live with a supercar? Don't follow the editors of a motoring magazine, especially when they've been invited to a sunny track in Italy for a test drive. Amateur reviews are much more honest, much more in tune with what the customers really want. And for the brand new Lamborghini V10, we couldn't think of somebody better to as for an opinion than Shmee150. He started out as a supercar spotted many years ago and is now living a wild life, owning a McLaren, as well as several other cool cars, and travelling the glove in search of awesome cars to film.
So what does a 12C owner think of the new Lamborghini Huracan? Predictably, the Italians have done a great job making something that's exciting in everyday circumstances, like the Gallardo was.

One of the biggest changes is the introduction of a switch on the steering wheel which changes the character of the car, a bit like Ferrari's Manettino dial. This gives the Huracan a split personality. In street mode, it's as comfortable as an Audi, but put it into race and it instantly becomes a British B road barn stormer, screaming at the top of its lungs. Lamborghini calls it the ANIMA button and it works well with the new digital theme the Italians are going for these days.

Vicious and composed at the same time – that's the best way to describe the 610 hp creation of Sant'Agata Bolognese. It's enough to thrill you without taking away the sense of control. Cars like this perfectly demonstrate why Lamborghini is such a great company. Life Ferrari and McLaren, they could have gone with an electronic diff and a turbocharged engine, the automative equivalent of a smartphone. But despite the digital dash and advanced electronics, this remains an analog experience, devoid of fake exhaust tones and artificially-induced thrills.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
