A white Lamborghini Countach with custom UK vanity plates was blocking traffic on the most famous bridge in the whole of Europe this morning. It has been spotted by many people on their commute to work and even prompted Transport for London Traffic News to make a Twitter post that asked "Anyone missing theirs?"
Given this icon from the 80s is prone to breaking down, the owner might have made a quick dash for the bank to arrange an overdraft on his credit line to make engine repairs. Or maybe it's just out of fuel, considering how thirsty these old V12s are and how brittle fuel gages of the time can be. The Russian mob might have finally caught up to a club owner and tossed him in the river for unpaid debts.
The full depth of this story is still unknown at the moment, but initial reports suggest the owner of the car is currently being held by the London East Police station for previous harassment charges. The old supercar had apparently run out of gas in the middle of Tower Bridge yesterday (October 8) at 6.30PM local time, causing traffic problems throughout the night.
Editor's note: Old V12 supercar in the middle of London, where it shouldn't ever come… must be James May lost or out of fuel again.
