Japan is now focused on the Tokyo Auto Show, but there’s one carmaker that decided to introduce its 2011 big bang in Japan outside the event. Lamborghini held a special launch event for the Aventador yesterday at Japan’s National Stadium, where the 1963 Tokyo Summer Olympics were held.
The VIP event was attended by Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelman and the carmaker’s Director of Research and Development, Maurizio Reggiani.

The Asia Pacific is a key market for the Raging Bull so the company made sure that people remember the Aventador by pulling stunts such as using the car for a slalom race on the Olympic stadium, in the presence of over 100 journalists and 500 special customers.
