Lamborghini Aventador Launch Control Isn't Perfect

Lamborghini wants to turn every Aventador driver into a hero, so the company offers each one 700 hp, a double-clutch gearbox that makes you miss the shifts when you blink, as well as an all-wheel-drive system that can tear the road apart.
However, drivers won’t always manage to get the best out of the car, so the Aventador also comes with a Launch Control function that makes sure every “pedal to the metal” launch in perfect.

Well, it seems that this is only true in theory, as the adjacent video proves. The clip, which comes from Option Auto, shows the Aventador LP700-4 Launch Control function at work, but things are not exactly perfect.

We get a good take off, but not an A+ one. The supercar has wet tarmac under its feet and, after the initial launch, the system restrains the torque in order to prevent wheel spin, but you can see that some extra time could have been gained - it seems that the system cuts off the engine a bit too much. Take a look at the video yourself and see what happens.
