Kurt Caselli and KTM Win Their First 2013 Hare & Hound Race

Caselli had troubles with his bike at the very start of the race and was put behind near the end of the pack. However, he managed to sort out the problems and during the first loop he battled his way back to the front of the pack, managing to finish the first part of the race in the 5th position, 1 minute behind the leader. The second loop was an altogether different thing, as Caselli was now in the top riders, and he manged to pass in the leading position, claiming his first victory for 2013.

Two-time National Hare & Hound champion, Kurt Caselli also took part in the 2013 Dakar Rally as a last-minute replacement for KTM rider Marc Coma, unable to ride due to injuries sustained in practice runs prior to the South American event.

Having also won 2 stages and ending up on the honorable 31st place, Caselli was offered a permanent position in KTM's Dakar team.
