Kubica Doesn't Worry About F1 Future

The 25-year-old Formula One driver declared he is not worried about his possibilities of joining an F1 team for the 2010 season. From next year Robert Kubica will be a free agent following BMW's withdrawal from the sport in name.

The Polish has been linked with a potential move to Renault from next year, but he recently insisted he will take his time to consider his next move, since there will be some new teams joining the sport in 2010.

When asked by Autosport if he is worried about not having a competitive car next season, Kubica said a focused and dedicated team can turn that around: "even if you are not on the pace straight away, if you are working with a good group you can move forward in winter testing".

"Nobody can guarantee a quick car, but you can have a guarantee of maximum effort and motivation. It's difficult to judge which team will win races next year", admitted the Polish F1 driver.

"Most of the teams have already contracted drivers so there are not a lot of places to go. But there are a few opportunities that look promising for the future", continued Robert. "I hope that I will be in a competitive car next year".

"I'm in the early stages of talking because it wasn't long ago that we got the news of BMW stopping. I'm not in a hurry", disclosed Kubica to the aforementioned source.
