By far no the most dignifying color for a superbike of Ducati 1199 Panigale's fame, eggplant purple will still offend the eyes of some purist Ducati fans in the upcoming Hollywood production Kick-Ass 2.
While we kind of desperately hoped that the purple Panigale was a slip, it looks like this amateur vigilante saga retains the uncanny color for this brutal machine. So we get another healthy dose of silly laughter and weird-colored Panigale wheelies and asphalt aggression.
Chloe Moretz, the actress impersonating the Hit Girl was 15 last year so she obviously was not allowed to ride. This year it's still a double to ride in her stead and we wonder whether she ever would get aboard the bike: this would mean at least 2 more yearly episodes of Kick-Ass until Chloe reaches 18 and could potentially throw a leg over a Panigale.
Still, not sure this is a good idea, for Chloe's safety, as the 1199 Panigale is not a bike for beginners, and for the poor bike forced to wear the silly color a couple of years more.
