Kia's Rear-Wheel-Drive Frankfurt Concept to Be Called Veredus?

The four-door coupe segment has evolved far beyond the niche it started out in life as, with the latest automotive producer to join it being Kia. As you might know, the South Korean automaker previously announced that it will bring such a vehicle to Frankfurt, in the form of the rear-wheel-drive concept.

However, the concept doesn't have a name, or a least didn't have one until now - it seems that Kia might name the car Veredus, as caranddriver writes.

Sometime last month, the carmaker trademarked the aforementioned designation and, considering that the rear-wheel-drive coupe is the first Kia product to be unveiled in the future, we might have a match.

However, the aforementioned source adds that Kia is planning to develop a multitude of new models in the future, so this moniker could be destined for one of those cars.

Fortunately, this year's edition of the Frankfurt Auto Show is only two weeks away, so we won't have to wait to long in order to see what the concept, which, by the way, looks stunning, will actually be called.

We have to admit the Kia is one of the carmakers with the greatest development potential nowadays and it seems that the automotive producer is determined to keep us the good work. Thus, we'd advise you to keep an eye on the company, just to make sure you're up to date with all its releases.
