The 2013 RAV4 was redesigned to be more civilized. Apart from the obvious style changes, the new crossover got rid of the trunk lid-mounted spare tyre by putting it under the cargo area, leaving the hatch to open in the classic upward way instead of pivoting to the side.
Further improvement features no more third row seats, increased storage space, an economical 2.5-liter 176 hp 4-cylinder engine and other things that you can see in the video bellow.
